Purchased the dealership October 2015
Immediately began planning with one of the three authorized H-D design firms Fresh Design International and Andres Perea, and the Retail Environment Group of Harley-Davidson. Local architectural work was coordinated and executed by our long-time firm Brost Architects and Planners and Dave Brost Hired Smith Home Gallery and Tim Smith (who also built our McGrath VW and Dubuque Used Car Superstore) as the General Contractor. Construction began January 3rd, 2017

The Vision for the project was to create a Uniquely “Dubuque” Harley-Davidson Destination.  We accomplished that by gutting the majority of the interior to allow us to “Open it up” and take advantage of the massive space within our existing walls.  We aligned customer conveniences and essential dealership functions to offer the most efficient and comfortable environment for all customers and our team.  Feedback was solicited from our long-time customers and dealership team in the extensive planning process.   The result is true to our Mission: “To provide a Kick Ass Experience that creates Loyal Riders”.

  • Exterior Painting transforming the building to match our vision
In total we offer over 53,000 square feet of Harley-Davidson products presented by dedicated McGrath Dubuque H-D Team Members
