Event Description:
Young Irelanders Friday, February 24, 2017 | 7:30 p.m.

Kick off your St. Patty’s Day celebrations with this premiere Irish song and dance event! Featuring eight sensational performers including dancers from Riverdance and Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance and world acclaimed Irish fiddler, Colin Farrell.

See performers who have shared the stage with luminaries like Bono, Sting, and Ronnie Wood of The Rolling Stones. They create music best described as eclectic, where traditional Irish, celtic, folk, world, jazz, country, and popular music all fuse together for a dynamic concert performance.

A free Cyber Café Knapp Stage Pre-Show Concert accompanies this performance from 6:00-7:00 p.m. featuring Irish band, Ballyheigue. Ballyheigue is a five piece Irish band specializing in traditional instrumental and vocal Irish songs. Comprised of family members Jim, Alison and Emily Ott with Rob McCullough and Jason Kuntz. They have played at various locations around Dubuque and opened for The High Kings earlier this year.
